Masonry white sand can be used primarily for masonry mixes to achieve lighter mortar joints in bricks and blocks work, but also people are pouring it into children’s sandboxes, paver bedding, paver joints, anti-skid mixes, beach volleyball areas, horseshoe pits and is also known as a golf course sand because is used in sand traps at golf courses.
Generally speaking, sand is underrated. It provides the structure for masonry constructions, and the quality of your sand can make the difference between success and failure. So what makes sand good or bad? Basically, good mason sand should be sharp, with a diversity of particle sizes not worn and rounded and clean. Particle size, diversity is important to create good structure and reduce the amount of binder needed. Our white masonry sand just meet these criteria!
